UkrSoc is a place to meet new people, discover Ukrainian culture and traditions, and feel part of a community while you’re at uni. From socials and parties to workshops, trips and cultural events, there’s always something going on - and everyone is welcome!
A Look Back: Highlights from Last Year
🌻 Epic BBQs: bringing together 100+ people and Ukrainian societies from universities across the UK
🌻 Club Nights & Socials: nights out and pub quizzes with Ukrainian students across the West of England, alongside collaborations with other Eastern European societies
🌻 Cultural Collaborations: from celebrating Easter together with Romanian Society and exploring our shared traditions and differences, to working with other communities across Bristol
🌻 Creative & Useful Workshops: from making varenyky to CV and career workshops, there was always something new to try or learn
🌻 South West Conference: an afternoon of talks, discussions and internship opportunities, exploring Ukraine’s place in the world and its economic and social future
🌻 Seasonal Events: Easter, Christmas and Malanka, Halloween and more, bringing Ukrainian traditions to life with our own UkrSoc touch

This year, we are taking things to a whole new level with:
🎨 Cultural Events & Workshops
Get hands-on with Ukrainian culture - from traditional crafts to music, food and more. Our first workshop is already here: come and make your own Ukrainian Folk Talisman, Motanka!
🧳 Trips across the UK & Abroad
From exploring British cities to getting out of the country, we’re taking the community with us. An international trip is already on our list 👀 keep an eye on our socials for the announcement!
💃 Annual Ukrainian Ball
Yes, we’re doing it again! An evening of charity, music and dancing - and a completely valid excuse to get dressed up like you’re attending the Met Gala 💅
🚀 Opportunities & Impact
Meet inspiring speakers, get involved in volunteering and join us at the Bristol South West Ukrainian Conference. We’re also looking to create more opportunities to connect with organisations and people working on issues that matter to Ukraine and its community!
