Wild Swimming: Give it a Go!

Cold water but a warm welcome! Come along for dip at Clevedon Marine Lake, in a seaside town just a bus away from Bristol city centre! Whether you are a complete beginner or seasoned wild swimmer come along to meet fellow freshers and swimmers in safe and social setting. There will be free hot drinks to warm up afterwards, followed by a pub trip. We will meet at Bristol Bus & Coach Station at 10:30, where the committee will be waiting. We will catch X6 at 10:45 to Clevedon, which will arrive between 11:30-45ish. You can make your own way there as well, as there is a car park located very close to the marine lake, but please wait for us before you get in the water! After we arrive, we will then walk to the North end of the lake. The Health & Safety sec will do a short introduction about how to stay safe in the water and then we will swim! After the swim we will have free hot drinks (hot chocolate, coffee and tea), oat milk and biscuits. We will get changed into warm clothes and then head to the pub at the other end of the lake for a drink! The pub has hot drinks, pints and soft drinks available. The buses back to Bristol are every hour from a bus stop beside the pub.
