Equipment for Committees
Are you part of a Bristol SU registered student society? Are you hosting an event soon and in need of some technical equipment to make your event the best it can be?
For a small fee to your society, we can provide you with a range of simple sound/lighting/AV packages. Please note that this is dry hire of equipment only, there will not be any tech support other than attached instructions.
Before you choose what equipment you'd like to hire, here's some information on the packages we have available. If what you require is not in these packages, please selected 'Others' on the form and provide details of what you require. We can try to see if we can fulfil your needs.
Package 1: Portable PA System
This package includes:
- Yamaha Stagepas 400i PA system (Attached with instructions inside)
- 2 x Speakers with cables
- 2 x Speaker stands
- 8 channel mixer attached behind the speakers
- 1 x microphone with 1 XLR cables
- Mic stands on request only
- Mini jack cable (aux) for music playback.
- Ideal for small venues.
Package 2: Casio HDMI Projector

- Remote control for projector
- Power cable
Package 3: Lighting
This package includes:
- 2 x lighting stands with 2 x Par 36 fixtures attached.
- Lvl 6 Lighting controller
Package 4: Microphone
This package includes:
- 1 SM58 Mic
- 1 XLR Cable
- Mic Stand with Mic clips on
