Calling out your Mates : Active Bystander Workshop

Are you part of a student group, club or society? We want all students to have fun and enjoy everything our 350+ student groups have to offer.

Being part of a student group is a brilliant way to meet new people, try new things and make the most of your university experience! We want our groups to be a place where everyone feels included, supported and safe. It is important to Bristol University and Bristol SU that everyone can thrive in our community, and feel confident to stand up, speak out when someone needs support.

Sometimes we might see things happen, and not know how to step in. Join this training to learn about active bystandership and grow your skills in challenging behaviour and being an active bsytander. This includes:

-A toolkit with different strategies to be an active bystander

-Finding the approach you feel most comfortable with

-Exploring case studies with other students

-Resources and support

Please be sure to get a free ticket to let us know you will be joining, we will then send you an invite link for this online session. Each workshop has a maximum capacity to make sure everyone can participate fully, but we will be running workshops every month - see other dates here

* If you are a student group leader (e.g. President, Equality Officer etc) please sign up to our sessions for student leaders on this page.

If you have any questions please reach out to Bristolsu-development@bristol.ac.uk
