About Us
Muslim Medics, Dentists and Vets Society is a student-led society bringing together medical, dental and veterinary students across the University of Bristol.
We aim to create a welcoming and supportive community through a mixture of social, educational, charitable and career-focused events throughout the year. From revision sessions, mock interviews and mentoring schemes to charity fundraisers, dinners and networking opportunities, MDV is here to help students feel connected, supported and represented during their time at university.
Whether you’re looking to meet people on similar courses, get involved in events, support charitable causes, or build your confidence through academic and career-based opportunities, MDV is open to all students who want to be part of a friendly and active community.

Membership Details
Membership for MDV is open to all University of Bristol students, whether you study Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Science, or are interested in joining our wider community.
Membership costs £3 for the year and gives you access to our events, including revision sessions, mock interviews/OSCEs, mentoring, socials, charity events and networking opportunities.
Members can also vote in MDV elections, stand for committee roles, and stay updated with society opportunities throughout the year.

Bristol SU recognises that the costs of participating in student groups can be prohibitively expensive for some students. The Activity Hardship Fund was created to support those students who wouldn't otherwise be able to participate in their chosen activity due to the cost.
